The episcopal miter shell, also known as the Mitra mitra, is a type of predatory sea snail found in the Indo-Pacific region and the Red Sea. It can be found in many locations, including East Africa, Madagascar, The Red Sea, Eastern Polynesia, Japan. Episcopal miter shells are typically white with bright orange markings. They are often found buried in sand, among coral, or under stones.
